Two speakers who will get your nose thinking! ✨

At Parfum Galaxy, it’s all about smelling, of course – but also about understanding what scent does to us. That is why we are proud to announce two special speakers who will take you into the scientific side of the fragrance universe.

Jasper de Groot

Psychologist, scent researcher and Associate Professor at Radboud University. Jasper dived into the scent universe early on with groundbreaking research on how we can convey emotions through scent – yes, your sweat reveals more than you think! He also explored how scent affects relationships and even how it helps us make more sustainable choices. Jasper collaborated on the book ‘Geuratlas van de Lage landen’. Expect a lecture that will stimulate your sense of smell as well as your mind. 🚀

 

Ilja Croijmans

Also affiliated with Radboud University, but an expert in the field of scent language. Ilja knows better than anyone how we describe, experience and remember scent – and why this is sometimes so difficult. He is active within various international scent organizations such as NOSE, ECRO and GCCR and also collaborated on the ‘Geuratlas van de Lage landen’. His talk takes you into the fascinating world of scent and language, and how our brain tries to get a grip on what we smell. 🪐
